We offer two distinct
services on Sunday mornings.
Our 8:30 service is
perhaps best described as contemplative. The
music is lead by our Cantor, accompianed by our Pianist and there is an extended period of
silence following the sermon. Communion is
celebrated every Sunday at our 8:30 service.
Our 10:00 service
follows a traditional mainline Protestant form, and includes music from our Chancel Choir,
Bell Choir, and our Organist. Communion is
celebrated on the first Sunday of the month.
Primera Iglesia Presbiteriana Hispana worships in the Geneva
Room at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays and joins us for coffee and fellowship following our
respective services.
Child care is available during
the 10:00 service. We provide a staffed nursery. We request that only parents pick up
their children.
Church School is
held during the 10:00 a.m. service. Church school for children through sixth grade
begins following Discovery Time at the 10:00 a.m. service.
Our musical
ministry comprises a wide array of inspiring music, including meditative arrangements
at our first service, and music by our Chancel and Bell Choirs at our second service. We
are frequently blessed with soloists and guests to help us with our Worship.
Large print bulletins and hymnals as well as
listening devices are available for the 10:00 a.m. service. Please ask an usher for
assistance.
The parking lot behind the church is reserved
on Sunday mornings for those who, for physical reasons, need close access to the building.
