Adult Education

The Adult Education committee provides educational opportunities which meet the needs and interests of our community. Members of the larger community are always welcome! Format for classes includes day long Saturday seminars and ongoing series held Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. 

Our offerings generally support two of FPCSR’s quadrants of development . . . spiritual growth and intelligible faith. We have several skilled teachers in our midst, including our pastor and two parish associates. We also draw on the rich resources in the area, including faculty from Dominican University and San Francisco Theological Seminary.

Offerings have included:  Two six week series: A Tour of the Bible and The Future of Christianity, an ongoing video/discussion series entitled, Living the Questions, a study and discussion of The Emerging Church by Bruce Sanguin, and classes on the Enneagram, as well as The Artist’s Way.
