10:00 Lively and “More Traditional” Worship Service

Our 10:00 service is traditional in style, if not in content. Themes for each service are centered around the focus scripture of the day. Virtuoso pianist Alan Choy delights with solos and postlude medleys that are so beautiful that the congregation stays to listen and applaud. We enjoy our voice and bell choirs, vocal soloists and accomplished visiting musicians on harp, violin, flute, electric cello, trumpet, dulcimer, percussion and other instruments.

Rev. Sam Alexander (and guest preachers from time to time) encourages conversation about his sermons, and time is set aside each week for the congregation to respond to his message.
On the first Sunday of the month we enjoy the sacrament of communion. This is a ritual expression of the love and care God shows us. You are welcome to participate, or not, as are your children. Through prayer, we express our intention and hope for the world, calling upon and joining with the transforming power of God.

If Christian or reformed worship is foreign to you, please visit and check us out, and if you have questions feel free to ask. Participate as little or as much as you wish  – we want you to feel comfortable here.

Jesus named two commandments that summarize God’s instruction: Love God and Love Neighbor. This is the heart of Christian life. Having received the love of God, the love that creates greater value in us, we seek now to share it.  We begin that work in worship and are sent out to create greater value in the world around us.
